Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZT 45/30 Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Before installation, inspect the appliance for any transport damage. If any damage is found, contact the supplier immediately.
Ensure that the back of the appliance is close to a wall but leave the required distance for ventilation as per the installation instructions. The appliance should operate in ambient temperatures between 10°C and 32°C.
Adjust the level of the appliance by screwing out the adjustable feet at the bottom of the cabinet using your fingers until the refrigerator is level.
This appliance must be earthed. Connect the appliance to a power supply of 220-240 V / 50 Hz. Ensure that the local voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the appliance.
Remove all securing tapes and wash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water and a little bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use soap or detergent as the smell might linger.
After installation, the appliance should be left for 2 hours before it is turned on to allow the refrigerant to settle.
Turn the thermostat dial to the required position. Position 1 is minimum cold and position 6 is maximum cold. For initial startup, set it to a medium setting (3 or 4).
Allow the appliance to stabilize for at least 4 hours before placing any food inside.
